Meet Recap

The Baldwin Girls Tennis season had a successful start against their first section opponent on Wednesday evening. It was a true competitive contest between the two schools. The singles matches went in the way of the Baldwin squad as they swept the singles matches to get a great start to the match. As the match continued, the Highlanders kept the momentum rolling as they took control of the doubles matches as well winning both matches in straight sets. First year coach Brandon Romain had this to say: “It is always a positive start to the season to get a win against a section opponent. The competitiveness of these young group of girls is definitely noticed and the positive play definitely was a great example of that today. I am very excited to see how these young group of ladies develop and compete throughout the season.” The girls travel to Shadyside Academy on Monday August 28h for another section match.
